What MineUtils is for
MineUtils is a set of free tools for Minecraft players, builders, server owners and content creators. Each tool solves a specific task that normally needs a mod, a desktop program or a lot of trial and error in-game: painting a skin, planning a Nether portal link, finding a village from a seed, or checking how a potion is brewed.
Everything runs in your browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create and, for the editing tools, your files never leave your device.
The tools
The catalog covers several areas of the game:
- Skins: a 3D skin editor with inner and outer layers, an image-to-skin converter and a skin renderer for posed images and thumbnails.
- World: a seed map for Java and Bedrock biomes and structures, a slime chunk finder and a Nether portal coordinate calculator.
- Reference: crafting recipes, a brewing guide with a potion command generator, an armor trim visualizer and a 3D viewer for blocks, items and mobs.
How we build and maintain them
Wherever possible the tools use the same data the game uses: models, textures, recipes and world-generation rules come from the game files or from published specifications, and are regenerated when Minecraft updates instead of being typed in by hand. Each tool page explains what the tool does, how to use it and where its limits are, so you can judge whether the result fits your version of the game.
The blog adds longer guides about Minecraft accounts, usernames and capes, written to answer questions that come up repeatedly.
How the site is funded
MineUtils is free to use. The site may show advertising and accepts voluntary support through Ko-fi to cover hosting and development time. Ads never change what a tool calculates. You can review or change your advertising choices at any time from the footer; see the Privacy Policy for details.
Not affiliated with Mojang
MineUtils is an independent project. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
