Privacy Policy

Overview

MineUtils does not require an account and does not ask you to submit your real name, address, or payment information. Some technical information may be processed when the site is delivered, when you use third-party features, or when analytics and advertising services are enabled.

Data stored in your browser

MineUtils uses browser storage to remember your theme preference, your latest Armor Trim Visualizer configuration, and Skin Editor projects, preferences, layers, and related workspace data. This information stays on your device in Local Storage or IndexedDB and is not sent to MineUtils. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser.

Uploaded files and generated content

Minecraft skins and other files you open in our tools are processed locally in your browser. MineUtils does not upload or store those files on its servers. Images, project files, commands, and share links generated by the tools are created on your device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.

Minecraft username lookups

If you choose to load a skin using a Minecraft Java username, that username is sent to minecraft-api.poke.dev to retrieve the public player profile and skin. That service may receive your IP address and other request information under its own practices. MineUtils does not store the username you enter.

Hosting and security

MineUtils is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, device and browser information, request timestamps, and security logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and maintain network reliability. Cloudflare handles this information according to its Privacy Policy.

Analytics

MineUtils may use PostHog to understand feature usage, page performance, and errors. Depending on the configuration and your consent choices, PostHog may process events such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, device and browser details, and online identifiers. We do not intentionally send skin files, project contents, or Minecraft usernames to PostHog.

Where required by law, optional analytics will not run until you consent. You can learn more in the PostHog Privacy Policy.

Advertising

MineUtils may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, and device or advertising identifiers to deliver, measure, limit, and personalize ads where permitted. Your choices and location may determine whether ads are personalized.

Retention and sharing

Browser data remains on your device until you delete it. Service providers may retain technical, analytics, or advertising data under their own retention policies and our configuration. MineUtils does not sell personal information for money. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or to providers that help operate the site.

Your choices and rights

You can clear MineUtils browser data, block cookies through your browser, decline optional technologies when a consent control is presented, and use available Google advertising controls. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing.

You can review or change your consent at any time using the Privacy choices button in the footer. Withdrawing consent prevents future optional processing but does not affect processing that occurred before your choice changed.

Children's privacy

MineUtils is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when MineUtils adds features, providers, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
