Domino's x Minecraft Dungeons II: Free Skin, Cape and Pet With Your Pizza

Domino's and Minecraft Dungeons II team up with an exclusive skin, a pizza cape and a cheesy pet. Here's what you get, which countries take part, how to redeem the code and whether it's worth it.

Pizza night and Minecraft have always gone together, and now it’s official. Mojang just announced a collaboration between Domino’s and Minecraft Dungeons II: order a qualifying pizza and you get a code for an exclusive cosmetic item in the game. In the United States there’s also a giveaway of 20,000 copies of the game.

I went through the official announcement and the redemption page, and here’s everything in one place: what you get, where it’s available, how to redeem it and a couple of details that are easy to miss.

The short version

  • Starts: Monday, October 26, 2026.
  • Ends in the US: January 10, 2027. Other countries have their own dates.
  • What you get: one of three cosmetic items for Minecraft Dungeons II with each qualifying order.
  • Redeem codes by: December 31, 2027.
  • You need: Minecraft Dungeons II (sold separately) and a Microsoft account.

The three in-game items

Each qualifying order gives you one random item out of these three:

Domino’s Skin. A hero in a red and blue outfit with Domino’s colors. It’s the most “uniform” of the three, and honestly it looks good in action.

Slice Slayer Cape. A cape that’s literally a slice of pizza, cheese and pepperoni included. If you only want one, this is probably it.

We were curious how it would look on a regular Minecraft player, so we put it on Steve in our Skin Renderer: as a cape, as elytra and with the elytra open. Spoiler: the open elytra turn into two giant pizza slices.

Cheesy Cube Pet. A small smiling cube of cheese that follows you around. It doesn’t fight or help in any way, but it’s hard not to like.

The Cheesy Cube pet, an orange and yellow cube with a surprised face.

All three are purely cosmetic: no stat boosts, no gameplay advantage. And since the item is random, you might get the same one twice. Mojang suggests sharing or swapping codes with friends to complete the set, which is the most practical way to do it.

How it works in the United States

In the US the promo revolves around the Domino™, a new personal-size Detroit-style pizza with a parmesan crust. It comes in one of six collectible Minecraft Dungeons II boxes, with designs inspired by characters and mobs such as the corrupted creeper, Valorie and the Prime Enchanter. The box you get is random and they’re available while supplies last.

To get the code:

  1. Sign in to Domino’s Rewards or create an account. In the US it’s mandatory.
  2. Order and prepay online for a Domino™ through the Domino’s website or app. Paying at the door doesn’t count.
  3. Wait up to 24 hours. The reward shows up under My Deals & Rewards in your Domino’s account.
  4. Copy the 12-character code.

The limit is 10 items per order, so if you’re ordering for a group you can get several codes in one go.

20,000 free copies of the game (US only)

On top of that, Domino’s is giving away 20,000 digital copies of Minecraft Dungeons II: 2,000 per day from October 26 to November 4, 2026. To enter, buy a Domino™ and submit your proof of purchase at dominos.com/minecraft-dungeons-ii, then check your email to see if you won.

The prize is the Standard Edition for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and the code has to be redeemed by December 31, 2027. It’s limited to one game per Microsoft account and per qualifying purchase.

Which other countries take part

The collaboration also reaches Domino’s locations in Mexico, Canada, Spain, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Portugal, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Here’s the important part: each country sets its own rules. In the US, Mexico and Canada the item comes with the Domino™. In the rest of the countries it can be a personal pizza, a combo or certain sides, and the packaging varies too: collectible boxes, sleeves, box toppers or a printed code card. Before you order, check the Domino’s website or app in your country to see which products qualify and how they hand out the code.

In China it works differently: there are five limited pizzas and five box designs inspired by mobs from MyWorld (the Chinese version of Minecraft): creeper, pig, villager, zombie and bee.

How to redeem the code in Minecraft Dungeons II

Once you have the code, it’s quick:

  1. Open Minecraft Dungeons II and sign in with the Microsoft account where you want the item.
  2. From the title screen, go to Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Exclusive Content.
  4. Enter the 12-character code. Done, the item is now on your account.

Things to keep in mind

  • The items only work in Minecraft Dungeons II. They don’t show up in regular Minecraft (Java or Bedrock) or in any other Minecraft game.
  • You need the game. The code doesn’t include Minecraft Dungeons II, apart from the US giveaway.
  • The deadline is December 31, 2027, but the promo at Domino’s ends much earlier. Redeem as soon as you get the code so it doesn’t get lost in your email.
  • If a code is missing, ask Domino’s. They handle the orders and the codes, not Mojang.

Is it worth it?

If you already play Dungeons II and you were going to order pizza anyway, yes, easily. You’re getting a free cosmetic, and the cape and pet are genuinely fun. If you’re going for all three, coordinate with friends or family. Ordering three times for random items is not great value, while swapping codes solves it in five minutes.

If you don’t have the game, the codes alone aren’t a reason to order. In the US the giveaway changes things a bit: with 2,000 copies a day for ten days, there’s a decent chance if you were already planning to order a Domino™.

And if you want to see how a cape or a skin looks before you show it off, you can load it, pose your character and export the image in our Skin Renderer, just like we did with the pizza cape above.
