Preparing Minecraft world generation…

The first map load can take a few seconds.

Minecraft Seed Map and Biome Finder

Choose Minecraft Java or Bedrock Edition and enter any seed to generate an interactive map of its biomes. Pan and zoom across the world, move to exact X and Z coordinates, inspect the biome under the pointer, and change the Y level to explore caves or high-altitude biome placement.

The map performs Minecraft world-generation calculations directly in your browser. Numeric seeds use the full signed 64-bit range, while text seeds use Minecraft's Java-compatible hashing behavior in both modern editions. Your edition, version and seed are included in the URL only when you choose to share the current map.

Find Minecraft Biomes and Structures

Biome search

Search every biome registered by the active worldgen data. Select one or many biomes, dim the rest of the map, or isolate only the areas that match.

Structure finder

Select villages, Ancient Cities, Strongholds, Trial Chambers, outposts, temples and other supported structures to calculate their possible positions in the visible area.

Surface, Height and Region Map Layers

Project biome samples down to the terrain surface for a familiar seed-map view, or turn projection off to inspect a fixed Y level. Hillshading makes large terrain features easier to read, the sea-level overlay distinguishes flooded areas, and the region grid divides the world into 32 × 32 chunk regions.

Right-click a location to copy a teleport command using the correct Java or Bedrock dimension syntax. The share button preserves the edition, version, seed, map view, dimension, layer settings, biome filters and structure selections in one URL.

Worldgen Datapack Map

Add Java world-generation datapacks as ZIP files or compatible mod JARs. The finder rebuilds its biome, noise, dimension, structure, template-pool and language registries from the active pack stack, so custom biomes and data-driven structures appear beside vanilla content.

Compatible projects can also be found through the built-in Modrinth search. Local files are parsed on your device and are never uploaded to MineUtils.

Minecraft Biome & Structure Finder FAQ

How does the Minecraft Biome and Structure Finder work?

Choose Java or Bedrock Edition, enter a seed and select a dimension. The finder runs Minecraft world-generation calculations in your browser to draw the biome map and evaluate possible structure positions.

Does the finder upload my seed or datapacks?

No. Seeds, ZIP files and compatible JAR files are processed locally in your browser. Recently opened local packs can be stored by your browser on this device.

Can I use text as a Minecraft seed?

Yes. Modern Java and Bedrock use the same Java-compatible text hashing behavior. Signed 64-bit numeric seeds are preserved exactly.

Can this map show the Nether and the End?

Yes. Switch between the Overworld, Nether and End. The available biomes, map height, terrain projection and structures update for the selected dimension.

Does it support Minecraft datapacks and mods?

Java Edition supports worldgen datapacks and compatible mod JARs that use data-driven world-generation files. Bedrock Edition currently maps vanilla generation; behavior-pack worldgen is not loaded.

Are structure positions always exact?

Java structures use their data-driven placement and generation checks. Bedrock structures use Bedrock-specific Mersenne Twister placement and biome checks; because Mojang does not publish every final Bedrock validation rule, rare false positives or omissions remain possible.
